FileMaker is a truly remarkable rapid application development tool. Where other database development may take weeks, FileMaker can implement solutions in days. The FM model is faster and less expensive and therefore lends itself to a spiral development method (above right) , allowing multiple iterations of a design in the time required for more traditional software to complete a single iteration.
