Parts Inventory / MRP

FM Associates' clients are involved in the design and fabrication of custom building products such as doors and fixtures. Such databases need to track clients, vendors, and multiple levels of fabricated parts. This kind of design is sometimes called an "indented bill of materials", because some components are part of larger assemblies. Tracking inventory, comparing it to outstanding requirements for each part, and anticipating order quantity and date are part of Materials Requirements Planning, or MRP.  We excel in developing MRP platforms.

Finally, top level assemblies are sometimes sold over-the-counter using a FileMaker POS terminal.
